We might abandon formal structure when
Composing; sensible alternatives
Abound. Conversely, one might turn again
To rhyme, perchance to sense how Shakespeare lives --
Contained within ten steps, the program states:
Admit you don't own structure; recognize
Objective rules; examine past mistakes;
Begin to write anew as rhymes arise.
If that sounds dreary, take a number; we'll
Be here all day. Just stand in line and try
To actualize yourself, to sense and fill
The gap between "my poetry" and "I";
And many light-years later, you may write
One frugal, burned-out sonnet every night.

Well, that got bitter, but at least I'm writing again.
