I made a list of things I need: some fruit,
A PBJ, potato chips (one serving),
One avocado (sliced), a tailored suit
That's guaranteed half-off, to not be swerving
While unduly surfing, another sonnet,
A better phone, a different car, some bees
To metaphor my knees, or in my bonnet
Before they go extinct, some milk-free cheese
For vegan pizza, six good rhymes plus one,
No extra cost, two modest eyes, a pretty
Appearance to ogle once, Don Juan
Pronounced just as intended, no-one's pity,
To not get stung, and one list poem. I'd pick
The stingers out, but never learned the trick.
