Day 161: Foot-loose

It's far away at first -- a lonely ache
Beneath a failing muscle warning me
This leg won't work as advertised; remake
It maybe, or review the warranty
To check our options: take it to the store
For money back, the same or equal leg,
Or in-store credit you can trade for more
Or less the same attachment. Patrons beg
For discounts -- just a bit of market-share
In injury, a chance to buy another
Appendage, one more box of chances. Fair
Enough, the salesmen say; I'll have my brother
From Plymouth ship some pronto, just the limbs
You need to vindicate those foot-loose hymns.
